The average wheelchair user eye level is somewhere between 38-50 inches. This would include users who are at a young age but that are also using an adult wheelchair on a long-term basis. The eye level can be determined and measured when the user is seated on the chair in a comfortable position with their back straight.
Some wheelchairs can break this standard eye level range by having exceptional features. A standing wheelchair would bring the user from a seated position to a standing position, which would completely shatter the average eye level for chair users. Their eye level would be comparable to a person that is in a standing position without any equipment aiding them.
