A wheelchair-bound California 2-year-old boy is bound in battle with his insurance company after it rejected his claim asking for a bigger chair.
Crue Allred, instead, is stuck in his small zipzac chair that he has grown out of and limits his mobility, says mom Aubrey Allred, who said she’s been told to put the boy into a stroller to get him around town.
Little Crue suffers from spina bifida, a birth defect that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He’ll have to wait for a big boy chair until his 5, his mom said Anthem Blue Cross told the Kingsburg, Calif., family.
