Plagiocephaly is also called flat heat syndrome, is a medical condition that include symptoms of a flattened head on one side of the skull.
This condition can be corrected over time if treatment is started early on in a child’s life. This condition rarely requires mobility equipment as it does not affect the lower limbs of an individual.
Although there are cases of Plagiocephaly that are severe enough where the person is unable to keep balance of their body while walking or moving because their head is flat on one side. A manual wheelchair with companion handles is the best type of chair for this type of medical condition.
