Obesity: Wheelchair Requirement
Being obese is a medical condition where the excess body fat of a person, has accumulated to the point where it may have a negative effect on the health of an individual. Obesity is a preventable disease, which causes some of the leading death tolls worldwide. Being obese can lead to further health issues, such as heart failure, for this and other reasons a healthy diet should be activated after being classified as obese.
People with obesity may require the use of a wheelchair that can aid them in getting around indoors, and outdoors. Obese individuals may require a heavy-duty wheelchair, or bariatric chair to be able to bear their weight. Some users may require rehab chairs for obesity if the problem has gotten to a severe stage. Sometimes obese people may require “oversized” wheelchair, which may need to be custom built, depending on the weight of the user.
