The family of a woman killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning is begging the driver who hit her to come forward.
The incident took place on northwest 3rd avenue and 54th street about 2:30 a.m.
The victim has been identified as Takesha Shawanna Hayes, 39.
Hayes’ family says she suffered from multiple sclerosis and was going to meet her boyfriend when a driver slammed into her.
Hayes died on the scene.
“This is too much, I want my big sister back; now she’s gone,” sobbed Kendra Broomfield.
Sharon Sweeting, Hayes’ Aunt told CBS 4’s Maggie Newland she just wants the driver to turn him or herself in.
